Eligibility Criteria
Please see Table given at the bottom. Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31, 2012. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible.
Admission Procedure
Applicants may seek admission through IBSAT and Interview process.
IBSAT is an Aptitude Test. IBSAT is of two hours duration and consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT 2011 will be conducted on December 24, 2011. Please refer the IBSAT 2011 Application Material at www.ibsat.org.
Applicants can apply by filling up the Application Form online here and making payment of 1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking.
GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT Code number of IBS is 7061. Applicants with GMAT score of 550 and above are exempted from appearing for IBSAT. Applicants with GMAT/CAT 2011 scores have to download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it along with the respective score card and a Demand Draft of INR 1,200 towards the cost, on or before January 31, 2012 to the IBSAT Office, 52, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad - 500082. Tel: 040–23385000. DD should be in favor of "IUCF A/c IBS" payable at Hyderabad.
Selection Briefings in 30 Cities During February 2012 :
candidates in 30 cities across the country during February 2012,to clarify various aspects of the selection process, financial aid and placements at IBS. All short-listed candidates are invited to attend the selection briefings along with their parents. The schedule and venues of the selection briefings will be intimated later.
Interviews at Hyderabad in March 2012
The shortlisted candidates will be called for participation in the interview process which will be held in March 2012 at Hyderabad. The interview process for each candidate will be completed in one day. The details of the interview process will be provided through a letter and the selection process kit will be sent to all the short-listed candidates.
